Shards of His likeness

There is beauty in every woman

and strength in every man.
Both are a part of God's character
A gift from God, our soul.
In His likeness we were made
with Holy Spirit made whole.

A shard of Christ in each of us,
for when at last we reunite
with the Father
Maker of all life
we shall see God not partially
but fully
as we are fully known.

For the Father sees us not as orphans,
but the body of Christ
as one.
Though each be different
in gift and skill
each is necessary, each important
every talent belongs to God
for in every skill He has mastery,
and every job He is Lord.

Hence He gives to His children
a part of His heart, coequally all of it
and thereupon we see
that love and care were ingredients
essential when in us
He breathed His self.

Yes there is beauty in every woman,
and strength in every man.
but these can only be realised
by divinely opened eyes
and perfectly understood
by God's eyes alone

Thus our lives remain
a fog and a maze.
Till to God we return
for many can and do speculate
of the meaning of the work,
but only the Maker
who poured His heart
the eternal purpose reveal.

Life of War

Run to the front lines
my brothers in arms
and gather your courage
so that we may vanquish the foe
to bring peace to the land
and harmony to our homes
we give our lives to protect
those who can not fight
But how can we win a war
for our country
if our country has a war
within it'self?

The law of war still applies
within our lives
defend your rights, family and friends
fight against that
which threatens to tear apart
your home and way of life
live by what is right
embrace what you hold dear
but do not lose sight
for they will be taken away
someday

Life and war are tests
tests of Courage
tests of Hope
tests of Love
tests of Trust
and of Faith
not of our rights

If we pass these tests
we will meet once again
those we once embraced
those we did not
but only if we move on and

Never ever give up

Feather Blades Haiku

1
1

Light shone on the egg.

Power from the king of light.

A Featherfolk boy.

2
2

For the boy, two gifts.

Wings to fly above the earth

And a scroll to teach.
